Public Relations is an audience participation piece which takes as its starting point the use of Facebook live. The piece sets out to provide an enhanced observation environment in which the audience can feel free to indulge in the process of self capture. It focuses on the inherently mixed aspects of this 'new camera' as a tool, as a medium, and as a subject matter.
The room is set up as an improvised recording studio to meet the needs of the technology and to provide participants with multiple monitoring of view point.
There are 2 aspects to the piece one is the accumulation of data which is presented online as an assemblage webpage, and the other is the live action recording environment.
